LUTHER COLLEGE BASEBALL

 

Featuring Individual/ Group Instruction, Drill work & Video Analysis

Hitting: The hitting instruction will break down the mechanics of hitting into key checkpoints. Front-toss drills, tee-work, and machines will be utilized to provide optimal repetition.

Defensive Play: Defensive play will break down proper throwing technique and fielding mechanics. Participants will have the opportunity to focus on their preferred position in the areas of the outfield and infield. Players will have the opportunity to try all positions.

Pitching: The pitching portion will highlight proper pitching mechanics, drills designed to improve control, grips, off-speed techniques, pitcher fielding, and bull-pen sessions.

Registration/Check-In: The clinic will be held at the Luther College Regents Center in the Student Recreation Center. The Regents Center is located in the Lower Campus of Luther College. Please enter the main door on the southwest part of the building by the circle drive. Parking is available on the west and north sides of the building.

Facilities: Indoor batting cages, pitching machines, batting tees, and numerous hitting stations, two full infield areas, two pro-style pitching mounds.

Equipment: All participants need gym shoes, workout apparel, glove and bat. It is highly recommended each catcher bring their own catching gear if possible.

Discipline: Any serious violation of regulations will result in immediate dismissal.  No refunds will be granted if dismissed or if participant voluntarily withdraws.
